    Turning Things Around Positively - Part 2

    Keep in mind that positive thinking is a constant practice that should be combined with positive affirmation. It must be done constantly whenever possible. You develop a state of mind in which you are always positive when you constantly practice positive thinking and say positive affirmations. This results to a state of being positive. Remember that these affirmations should come straight from you. This way, you can be on your road towards creating significant and long-lasting changes. When you are brimming with positive energy, you gravitate positive situations into your life constantly.
    In addition, many doctors and health professionals believe that having a positive disposition, which involves the constant practice of positive thinking as well as positive affirmations can do wonders for your health. As a matter of fact, studies have shown that patients who have a positive outlook have better chances of recovery than those who do otherwise. Especially in surgical operations, researchers have shown that the more a patient feels a better outcome of the surgery, the more they are likely to do so. In one study conducted among surgery patients with a variety of health conditions ranging from back problems to heart ailments, it was found that those who had a positive outlook about how they would fare in the surgery turned out to have actually done well after the procedure. On the other hand, those who had the opposite outlook did not do well. This may just be an example of how powerful and real positive thinking is.
    But the big question lies on how you can incorporate positive affirmation into your daily life and how it can make your life better. Simple. All it takes is constant practice and discipline.
    You may want to start by self-observation. Try focusing on your thoughts and weigh out whether much of your thoughts are positive or negative. If you feel that negative thoughts overpower the positive, then you need to make some changes if you want things to turn around in your life for the better.
    Then, try observing your thoughts once more, this time focusing on the kind of negative thoughts you have. Figure out how these thoughts affect you and the life that you are living. For instance, when you say that your job is the worst, ask yourself whether you really think it is the worst or when you say that you are sick and tired of your partner, then ask yourself if you really are sick and tired of him or her. If you think that your negative thoughts have become but a part of your daily life, then you might as well have made negative reality of your own.
    You make what you think. Your negative thoughts manifest into your life because that is what you allow yourself and believe would happen. Thoughts, whether positive or negative, that are repeated again and again turn into beliefs, which then become reality. Simply put, if you think negatively, then you will more likely end up in a negative situation. But if you position your thoughts to a positive note, then you can achieve a positive reality.
    Remember that it is only when you will have understood your negative thoughts or beliefs that you can start changing them. When you start changing your negative thoughts, you also start creating a positive disposition and eventually develop positive thinking on a daily basis. Only when you will have made positive thinking a way of life will you be able to take full advantage of positive affirmations.
    The next thing you will do is to condition yourself so that your mind can get used to thinking positively. This way, you can be sure that you are constantly carrying a positive vibe. Positive affirmations can give you a good jumpstart, more so when you work with several techniques, which can help create changes quicker than you expect. Among these techniques include the correct use of your inner power by way of practicing and disciplining your mind and subconscious, which is considered as the strongest force that you have. When such a force is used as properly as it should, then it can attract good things and better changes into your life.
    An ideal time for using positive affirmations is during meditation, in which you can take some time off and be in a place where you can be in complete solitude without being interrupted and communicate with your inner self. In fact, those who go into meditation do not find it hard to use positive affirmations. Moreover, incorporating your positive affirmations when you are meditating is more practical especially if time does not permit you enough.
