How does Self improvement happen in you?

Oliver Goldsmith said, “People seldom improve when they have no other model but themselves to copy”.

a. What are your thoughts regarding this quote?
b. How do you view self improvement?

    I improve myself my going through hard struggles where I have to rely on God alone.

    Oliver Goldsmith is brilliant!! Improvement in ones person without a roll model is called evolution. A higher sense of awareness will bring you self improvement, without knowing what that is there will be no change. Knowledge leads to self improvement, when you don’t know its possible do you actually have the desire to create a better self?? Hmmmm.
